In 1908, Henry Ford introduced the Model T, which used a moving assembly line for mass production and made cars affordable for the average person. During the 20th century, car manufacturing expanded rapidly, with major companies such as General Motors, Toyota, and Volkswagen emerging. In recent years, there has been a shift towards electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as the development of autonomous driving technology.
